This fellow escaped the butcher's knife. His friend, unfortunately, was not so lucky. John Rico Jr. is now packed away in our freezer . . . our first 'grass fed beef'. He tastes delicious!

Wow, I don't think I'd seen Bruiser up close before. When clicked on and enlarged he's, well, quite... something! Tho I imagine he'll never hear, "It's a good thing for him that he's CUTE....," beauty IS in the eyes of the beholder, and he's not really looking for MY adoration, so I suppose all's well for him (considering the competition has been 'eliminated,' shall we say? ;-)
