Yes, I'm behind on blogging again . . . here we are at Daniel's birthday! :-) Back in November, but so much fun. With the wedding fast approaching, Daniel and Kendra have been able to spend more time with us. After Daniel's birthday weekend, Kendra stayed the week, something we've been wanting to do for a long time. :-) We had a blast sewing aprons, making cards, shopping, keeping the household running, and enjoying the delights of the little ones.

While she was here, Kendra gave Jeremy a drawing lesson! She is such a talented artist, and has blessed our family so much with her artwork. Great job you two! :-)

God sent His Son - they called Him Jesus,
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.
Because He lives I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives.
How sweet to hold a newborn baby
And feel the pride and joy he gives;
But greater still the calm assurance:
This child can face uncertain days because Christ lives.
Because He lives all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives.
Because He lives I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives

-This song has been my anthem the past few weeks. Kristen Chenoweth sings a beautiful version that thrills my heart whenever I hear it.

Prairie Girls and Cookie Dough
A rather extravagantly dressed prairie princess enjoying the delights of the kitchen. (Makes me miss those dress-up days)
. . . which are even yummier when shared with Mommy! :-)

Thankful for Thanksgiving
In the spirit of family and friends
And we'll all join hands and remember this moment
Till The Season Comes 'Round Again
And we'll hold it as long as we can
May it carry us through, should we ever get lonely
Till The Season Comes 'Round Again
Shining with love from our hearts
By a warm fire, lets lift our hands high
And be thankful we're here, till this time next year
Till the next time I see you again
And we'll all join hands, and remember this moment
And we'll love and we'll laugh, in the times that we have
Till The Season Comes 'Round Again
Till the next time I see you again
If we must say goodbye, let the spirit go with you
Till The Season Comes 'Round Again

Catchin' Up
This post has been written and rewritten many times but my attempts to wax eloquent have proved vain. On my last try, I was happily typing away when I suddenly realized the length of my ramble. Sincere though it was, my jaunt across the page looked more like a sentimental journal entry than an update with a lot to cover.
Ah well, many of the events in our lives have been of a sentimental nature. As I was ironing this evening, Max was happily playing on the floor with the children. Enjoying his presence and the happy giggles of the children, I suddenly remembered we have three and a half weeks before he is gone establishing his own household. As joyous as that is, a lump sprang into my throat. Those familiar tears which have seemed to appear so often lately threatened to pop out again. . . and . . . yes, here I go again, it's beginning to look like a journal again. :-) I suppose I should stop there and get to the real post, before another week goes by!
Thanks to wedding showers and preparations, Daniel and Kendra have spent some precious days here lately. We even had some time to relax together! :-)
Olivia is Grandma's girl, and is growing so fast! Isn't she beautiful?
Daniel loves his babies!
No family evening is complete around here without those trusty popcorn bowls! Full of course. ;-)

We were blessed by a weekend visit from the Telians last month. We are so thankful for their friendship and praise God for the great encouragement they are to us. We enjoyed some great visits, silly times practicing practical jokes, climbing the mountain, horseback riding, sidesplitting laughter, singing, and of course fellowshipping! Peter was able to interview Max and Jenny in our 'living room turned studio' for a project he is working on, while the rest of us hiked 'our' hill.
Wonderful memories were made as we got to know each other better. Thanks for the fantastic time Telians!
