Simon has flown the coop. For 6 weeks at least. Amid the tears of his sister and streams of life counsel from his parents, Simon packed up his bedroom, hooked up the trailer to his truck, and set off to ATS, a heavy equipment operating school. We drove out together, he to the school, the rest of us to Monteray. After an In and Out lunch together, Simon followed us until his exit. We beeped and waved wildly until he disappeared, a grin that stretched from ear to ear on his face. WE MISS HIM! But Simon is in his element. Driving enormous heavy equipment every day . . . what more could a guy want? :-P

Oh wow, I miss you all so so much. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU! Thanks so much for posting pictures.
Lots and lots of love,
Your sister, Jenny
What great photos, Sally! Bet that was hard to send Simon off -- and yet exciting, too, knowing that it's something he really wanted to do. Love that last one of your mom giving him an earful! ;-)
It was great to see you all at the concert last night (well, "all", minus Simon... and Max... and Jenny... and Graham.... and Daniel...and.. and... AGHH! That kind of list could just about ruin a day!! Better stop!)
Love to all of you,
Lori
Love the pictures and we are so proud of Simon!
