Mother's Day

This year I was struck with the appropriateness of Mother's Day. Who better to honor and celebrate than our Mothers? The depth of their sacrifice in bringing up children deserves high honor. Mom's dedication, love, and wisdom in her calling brings praises to my lips.

This year we celebrated a prolonged Mother's Day. The Werzinski family hosted a beautiful tea in celebration of Motherhood, where we daughters were given opportunity to publicly express our gratefulness and love to our Mom's. Mother's Day morning was filled with anticipation as we (the Parish Clan) celebrated our own Mother, later on enjoying fellowship with family and friends. Praise the Lord for Motherhood!

Simon, having heard Mom's wish for an outside swing, set to work Saturday and built her one! He did a great job and completely surprised her. :-)

Dad saw this and couldn't resist. :-)
